At the end of February, WoVeN will welcome 57 new Peer Leaders, 14 Trainers, and 2 National Consultants to our National Peer Leader Training in San Diego! These women will spend 3 days learning how to deliver the WoVeN program and will make connections with women Veterans from all over the country. Our upcoming cohort will expand WoVeN to 7 new states, including Alabama, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Missouri, Washington, and Wisconsin, with over 50 new cities added all together!
After a successful pilot of our new Online Groups program, WoVeN has invited 16 new Peer Leaders who will focus their training on implementing these online groups. Our Peer Leaders are excited to co-lead online groups with women across the country, so if you’re interested in joining one, click here to sign-up!
If you would like to apply for our next National Peer Leader training, you can submit your application here. Priority is given to those women who have begun recruiting group members, those who have identified a co-leader who can also attend the training, and those whose city is not already served by a WoVeN group. This training will be held in Philadelphia in June, stay tuned for more details to come!
