WoVeN groups have launched in 10 cities across the country: Charlotte, NC, Houston, TX, Phoenix, AZ, Dallas, TX, Ft. Worth, TX, Richmond, VA, Austin, TX, Warner Robins, GA, San Antonio, TX, and Pittsburgh, PA.
With over 200 women Veterans enrolled in groups, the WoVeN sisterhood is expanding and is bigger and stronger than ever. We just celebrated WoVeN’s first birthday on March 1st at the peer leader training in New Orleans and reflected on the growth we’ve had in our first year. WoVeN started with the vision of connecting women Veterans from all service branches, eras, and corners of our country. Seeing that idea coming to fruition over the past year has been incredibly rewarding for the WoVeN Team, the peer leaders who have dedicated their time and hearts to building communities for their fellow women Veterans, and the WoVeN members who have joined the sisterhood and found a home in WoVeN.
In our second year, we hope to strengthen these WoVeN communities and bring WoVeN to more U.S. cities across the country. Keep an eye out – your city could be next!
